  North,south,east,west,——thesamedullgraypersistence,Thetatteredvaporsofavanishedtrain,Thenarrowingrailsthatmeettopiercethedistance,Orbreakthecolumnsofthefar-offrain。
  Naughtbutmyself;norformnorfigurebreakingThelonghushedlevelandstarkshiningwaste;
  Nothingthatmovestofillthevisionaching,Whenthelastshadowfledinsullenhaste。
  Nothingbeyond。Ahyes!FromoutthestationAstiff,gauntfigurethrownagainstthesky,BeckoningmewithsomewoodensalutationCaughtfromhissignalsasthetrainflashedby;
