  Thisinformationgavememuchfoodforreflection。IcannotdescribetoyouthesuspenseinwhichIpassedthetimetillmynextlesson,whichtookplacethismorning。
  DuringthefirstquarterofanhourIexaminedhimclosely,debatinginwardlywhetherheweredukeorcommoner,withoutbeingabletocometoanyconclusion。Heseemedtoreadmyfanciesastheyaroseandtotakepleasureinthwartingthem。AtlastIcouldendureitnolonger。
