Unluckily,Inevercaredacentforanythingbutart,andnevershall。Myideaofman’schiefendwastoenrichtheworldwiththingsofbeauty,andhaveafairlygoodtimemyselfwhiledoingso。IdonotthinkImentionedthatsecondpart,whichistheonlyoneIhavemanagedtocarryout;butmyfathermusthavesuspectedthesuppression,forhebrandedthewholeaffairasself-indulgence。
