  say,Blackwood,becauseIhavebeenassuredthatthefinestwriting,uponeverysubject,istobediscoveredinthepagesofthatjustlycelebratedMagazine。Wenowtakeitforourmodeluponallthemes,andaregettingintorapidnoticeaccordingly。And,afterall,it’snotsoverydifficultamattertocomposeanarticleofthegenuineBlackwoodstamp,ifoneonlygoesproperlyaboutit。OfcourseI

  Moneypennycallsthebizarrerieswhateverthatmaymeanandwhateverybodyelsecallstheintensities。ThisisaspeciesofwritingwhichIhavelongknownhowtoappreciate,althoughitisonlysincemylatevisittoMr。BlackwooddeputedbythesocietythatIhavebeenmadeawareoftheexactmethodofcomposition。Thismethodisverysimple,butnotsomuchsoasthepolitics。UponmycallingatMr。B。’s,andmakingknowntohimthewishesofthesociety,hereceivedmewithgreatcivility,tookmeintohisstudy,andgavemeaclearexplanationofthewholeprocess。
